I'm currently a fourth-year student at the University of Washington Seattle majoring in Journalism and Public Interest Communications and minoring in Political Science. I spend most of my time working as a reporter, photographer, and Development Editor at The Daily UW, where I teach incoming writers alongside pursuing my own stories and assignments. As a multimedia journalist and the creator of two short profile documentaries, I approach reporting looking for eye-catching angles to engage new audiences as well as recurring news readers. I'm particularly interested in work regarding labor affairs, industry-related investigations, local activism, community profiles, and occasionally arts critique. My photojournalism experience and interests range from sports, concerts and performance arts, live protest coverage, and general assignment photography.
